Dr Sam Newbury grew up in remote North Queensland and studied medicine at James Cook University, where he developed a strong interest in improving access to regional women’s health services. He completed further training in Brisbane before undertaking specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training across metropolitan and rural Queensland. He has advanced experience in minimally invasive surgery and completed additional fellowship training in laparoscopic surgery and fertility care with the Ballarat IVF team. His clinical focus includes endometriosis, pelvic pain, and fertility-related conditions. Sam now practises in regional Victoria and is committed to delivering high-quality, accessible care to women in regional communities.
