Dr Russell Dalton graduated with Honours from Monash University in 1986 and began specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1990. He trained at Monash Medical Centre and the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, guided by leading mentors and gaining strong expertise in fertility care, IVF, and laparoscopic surgery. In 1994, Russell relocated to the UK, working at St John’s Hospital in Chelmsford before returning to Ballarat in 1995 to establish his private practice. He later founded Ballarat IVF (2002), the Ballarat Endometriosis Clinic (2004), and co-founded Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ballarat (OGB) in 2007. He played a key role in launching OGB Surfcoast and Surfcoast Fertility in 2021. In 2022, he helped establish OGB as an AGES-accredited training site, and in 2023 introduced OVUNET, an innovative AI-driven ovulation induction platform. Russell is deeply committed to education, teamwork, and delivering safe, high-quality care.
