Dr Bishay completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in cardiac transplantation at the University of Toronto, followed by his medical degree (MBBS with Honours) at the University of Sydney. He undertook endocrinology and physician training at St Vincent’s, Concord, Blacktown, and St George Hospitals, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). He is currently completing a PhD in metabolic and bariatric medicine and serves as a senior lecturer at Western Sydney University.
